Potential upsets in the first round?

I have a few upsets I would not be so surprised in seeing in the first round. Here are my main picks

Ohio over Michigan
D.J Cooper!, remember his great run in the 2010 tournament when Ohio upset number 3 seed Georgetown behind their then freshman point guard. He's a player that can score in spurts and he is also Ohio's best defender (avg almost 3 steals per game) This team is second in the nation in forcing turnovers and one of the best in offensive rebounding, Michigan si not very good on the defensive glass and that spells trouble.

St. Bonaventure over Florida State
I can see this happening, St. Bonaventure is playing at their programs peak right now. Their star senior power forward Andrew Nicholson stats this year are stellar (18 ppg 8 rpg 1.8 bpg) he is shooting over 55 percent form the field and over 30 percent form the 3 point line. Look for Andrew to have a solid outing vs the Seminoles and the rest of the bonnies to bring their A-10 championship momentum over to this game.

Davidson over Louisville.
Louisville is not a team that will out score you they have to gut out the game by playing hard nosed defense. Davidson has a very balanced attack with five people averaging double figures on their rosters. This could very well be a dog fight, Davidson has already been in competitive games with top seeds before, they beat number 1 seed Kansas on the road earlier this year.

MARCH MADNESS MARCH MADNESS MARCH MADNESS

I have not been blogging for almost two years now but I am so pumped about this up and coming march madness tournament I had to get back at it!!!!

My final four picks

1. UK

2.Ohio State

3. UNC

4.Mizzou

I picked Kentucky because, lets face it no argument involved they are the best team in the nation, they have Anthony Davis leading their stiffling defense (number 1 in the country) and then they have the leadership and experience from Doron Lamb Terrence Jones as well as the lone senior that plays consistenetly Darius Miller. Throw their freshman point gaurd Marquis Teague and their double double machine in Mike kidd-Gilchrist you have the most talented team in the country.

Ohio State gets my pick because despite their slip lately in play they will show everyone arond the world why they were the number 1 team in the country once upon a time this year. Jared Sulligner is a matchup nightmare for opposing teams and dont forget their sneaky pg Aaron Craft who is among the nation in steals per game, I like to call him swiper lool.

Unc this is a core of guys that a very experienced among their rotation, despit their loss of Strickland this team should not be counted out. Zeller is playing the best basketball of his UNC career and Harrison Barnes is playing more consistent than ever.

Mizzou, Mizzou is my darkhorse to sneak into the final four. Now you may be thinking how could a number 2 team be a dark horse? well many people count them out and little talk of them advancing to the final four is being said. But I have faith in Frank Faith and his teams high scoring offense.
